Let's just get down to it. I weigh more now than I have ever weighed in my whole life. Pregnancy did not suit me too well, and now I am paying the price. I love my little girl so much, and she is worth every single pound. However, now is the time to change my life before she is a toddler, and I have no energy to chase her around.
As far as diet is concerned, at first I am combining a low carb (not completing eliminating carbs) and a calorie counting system. So far I'm doing okay with low carb (I've already been doing this for a couple of weeks now), and now my carb cravings are history. As far as exercise I'm going twice a week to walk with my mommies group, started a Couch to 5K program using Podrunner intervals, and I tried Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred this morning and it kicked my A%$! If you want to shred an extra 10 pounds before bathing suit season this is the DVD for you! As for me I think I'll try it again and see how I do. I think I need to lose about 20 lbs before I'm able to hang in there with her.
I'm going to utilize this blog as my motivation to stick with this. I thought I was so fat before I got pregnant and now all I want is to be in that weight range again.

Starting Weight: 214 (Down from a high of 248 when I was 9 months pregnant and down from 221 at my 6 week checkup)
Lowest Weight in the last 3 or 4 years: 169 (I felt great at this weight and that's where I want to be)
Mini Goals: April 30 - 10 lbs gone
May 31 - 10 lbs gone
June 30 - 10 lbs gone
Calorie Limit (According to my Loseit program on the Iphone): 1440
Day 1 Calories per meal (I'm not going to be listing individual foods here. There's no way I can stick with that) I'll be listing foods in the Loseit program and posting calories here

Exercise: 15 minutes - 30 Day Shred
40 minutes Couch to 5K (C25K) with 5 minutes continuous running at the end of the workout...so proud of myself!
